Hello xxx,
Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support and sending the necessary reports.
Upon reviewing the reports, I do not see anything that would drastically affect the connectivity at your end. However please be advised that traceroute report shows the connectivity status at a particular time only.
What you are encountering may be due to Internet latency. Internet latency or most commonly known to online gamers as "Lag" can cause screen freezes and can keep an online game from running smoothly.
If you're using Windows XP or Vista, we recommend you follow the steps below to help improve the performance of the Full Tilt Poker software:
1) Close Full Tilt Poker.
2) In the "Start" menu, select "Control Panel".
3) Select "Internet Options". Note: If you don't see this option, please click on "Switch to Classic View" in the left hand pane).
4) In "Internet Options", select the "Connections" tab.
5) Click the "LAN settings" button.
6) Ensure that all check boxes with "LAN settings" is unchecked.
7) Select "Apply" and then "OK" to save any changes.
8) Log in to your Full Tilt Poker account.
We have also received reports of performance issues on Windows Vista. Windows Vista has the ability to run programs in different compatibility modes.
To configure the compatibility mode for Full Tilt Poker, please try the following:
1.) Locate the file "FullTiltPoker.exe" and right click on it.
2.) Select "Properties" from the menu.
3.) Select the "Compatibility" tab.
4.) Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
5.) Choose to run the program in "Windows XP Service Pack 2"compatibility mode.
6) At the bottom of the window under "Privilege Level", make sure that "Run this program as an administrator" is checked.
If this is not an option for you, you will need to log out, and log back in as administrator to see this option.
7) Click "Ok".
Please let us know if the above steps resolve the issue or if you require further assistance.
Next, regarding your tournament; we understand situations like these are frustrating. However, we have determined our servers were fully operational at the time of your disconnection, and we cannot make adjustments because of Internet conditions beyond our control.
Before you connect to our software, your internet connection travels through 5 to 30 different third party servers, none of which are owned by Full Tilt Poker. If any of those servers are experiencing technical difficulties, your connection to our servers will be affected. When you sit at a table or tournament, you accept the potential risks playing in an online card room, and we are unable to assume responsibility for external connectivity issues.
We have reviewed tournament 130570273 and note that you were able to connect and actively participate in this tournament.
We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time.
