Imo there is a law that if you don't sign the lease ending contract and give up keys he is not allowed to go into your rented apartment even if he got spare keys and if he does you can call cops on him for breaking in even when you are not paying him rent money for months... There are some law students in this forum who can probably answer this.

Yes, that is right. Your home is your castle and private life is one of the main right and even ownership right dont outweight it. Only with court order landlord can break into his rented apartment.

But if the contract is violated, landlord can sue you and claim all damages.
